Dr. Cyndie Townsend

Dr. Cyndie Townsend grew up in Bay Minette, in south Alabama, and moved to Georgia in 1986. She earned an associate degree from Gainesville College, then a Bachelor of Science from North Georgia College.

She graduated from the Medical College of Georgia and became a dentist in 1995. After her first five years in practice in Norcross, she moved to Winder in 2000, where she has practiced alongside Dr. Benner ever since.

Outside the office, Dr. Townsend lives in Braselton with her husband, Doug, and their daughter, Kennedy. She has served as team mom for Kennedy’s softball teams, loves time with friends and family, and her favorite place to be is any beach. The family’s two chihuahuas are named Paco and Pedro.
